Megan & Stephen’s Memphis, TN Wedding

Happy Tuesday friends! Today is a great day because I have the honor to blog about Megan and Stephen’s gorgeous wedding! I have been looking forward to this wedding since October of last year. Megan and I clicked during our first facetime chat, and since then I have been *not* patiently waiting on their gorgeous wedding! Megan and Stephen’s engagement session was one of my favorite still to this day. She planned every detail of that engagement session down to every little detail! So I knew her wedding would be perfectly planned and gorgeous, and OH it was!

The day started out in Megan’s friends house. This house was a dream! I literally said “How is this place real?” about five million times! If I could dream up the perfect home, this would be it you guys! From the beautiful wooden staircase, to the perfectly decorated rooms, it was majestic! I was in photographer heaven and I want to go move in, ha! Megan has an infectious smile and she let’s the small things go which is one of the many reasons why she is such a great person and the sweetest bride! Even though the rain drops that came in the early morning stressed some of us out, Megan was totally happy and did not care at all! She had the sweetest bunch of bridesmaids and they made getting ready and taking a lot of pictures just that more fun. Megan and her Mom had a sweet, sentimental moment that made us all tear up and I am so thankful we are able to capture moments like this! Memories captured last a life time and I am so happy she will be able to look back at these tender moments for years to come.

Stephen is a laid back guy, but he was truly excited to see Megan for the first time as his bride! They are so easy to photograph and during their portraits we had a breath taking back drop of the river and bridge in Memphis! After their picture time together alone, the temperature dropped a couple of degrees and the wind started picking up, the bridal party rushed over to us and we were able to capture all of their pictures before a rain shower came through! Megan literally made it into our car right before the rain drops started! She laughed and didn’t stress out at all! Gosh, she is just the sweetest! I can’t say that I would be the same, if it would have been me!

Their gorgeous ceremony and reception took place under a clear tent beside the river with string lights and gorgeous florals! The pops of pink and champagne just completed the simple and beautiful style of the entire wedding. Megan and Stephen, we are so thankful to know you guys and we are going to be neighbors some day, some how, ha! Have a great time in Maui as husband and wife and please post a lot of pictures from the beach, so we can live vicariously through you! XOXO – Alex
