Kylee & Connor’s Engagement Session

Kylee and Connor’s engagement session had to be one of our favorites of all time! They are  two of the funnest, easy going and prettiest people we have ever met! We had the most amazing light the entire session and they were troopers when the weather got chilly towards the end! Kylee and Connor wanted to take some pictures on a golf course because they both played collegiate golf and Connor is a pro golfer at Montgomery Country Club! Kylee and Connor met in college and Connor proposed this past November and they are getting married this September! This wedding is going to one big party and we can not wait to celebrate with them! 🙂

Kylee & Connor’s engagement story : Connor & Kylee were both following their dreams of playing college golf. Kylee was a few years older then Connor and was enjoying her college experience at the University of Mobile.  In 2013 her  Junior year of college Connor began the best years of his life! Connor and Kylee soon became friends when they realized they both had the same interest and same social group! Neither of them had any interest in finding a person to spend the rest of their life with- they were enjoying college and making memories that would last a life time. Around October on 2013 Kylee and Connor’s friendship became closer and they were starting to hangout everyday. One night Connor thought that he was going to take this friendship to the next level and kissed KYLEE. Kylee was in complete shock and pushed him away because she did not want to ruin the friendship & close bond they had together….But after she talked with Emily she realized she really did have feelings for him and thought she might as well give this a shot! 2 weeks later they started dating on February 8, 2014. Fast forward some and Kylee decided that she was going to move back home to Montgomery after spend a year in Mobile after college. She had a great job opportunity and knew it was the right thing to do. Connor still had about 2 months of college left, and they had no idea what their next game plan was.

They put their trust in God and said we will figure it out as the time comes. About a month later Connor accepted a job position in Montgomery working in the golf industry. So in 2017 they got to enjoy the best summer together! The first summer they had ever spent together. Enjoying the lake, the beach, trip to the Dominican, played golf together. Everything was falling into place. Kylee knew that she was ready to marry Connor since they started dating. He was her person and best friend… However, Connor was young and the word MARRIAGE scared him. So Kylee thought they would not get married until they were 30 like Connor had told her in the past. In August of 2017 they were at their best friends wedding and Connor asked Kylee’s parents if he could marry her…. THEY WERE THRILLED!! On November 17, 2017 Kylee and Connor took a trip to Mobile to spend time with friends and celebrate the gender reveal  party for Kirsti & Derek. Friday night we got off work and headed to Mobile.. Little did I know he had the ring with him. We were enjoying each others company, listening to our favorite songs and singing our lungs out! When we are almost to Mobile, Connor asked Kylee if she wanted to go to University of Mobile and see our old stomping grounds… Kylee said NO WE ARE GOING TO BE LATE FOR DINNER. Little did she know that is where he wanted to pop the question… oops! So they headed to Alex and Leland’s house for a wonderful dinner, wine, and had a nice fire outside. After a couple glasses of WINE, Connor got down on one knee and asked Kylee to spend the rest of her life with him. WITH EXCITEMENT  SHE SAID YES!!!
