Springtime Lagrange, Georgia Wedding

Sometimes I feel like I am getting old and today was one of those days! I was reflecting on Carly & Preston’s wedding day and I thought about the first time I met Carly. Carly cheered at our rivalry school and our school loathed her school and I am sure the feeling was mutual, haha! One summer at my hostess job, I met Carly who was the cutest and sweetest (still is) person I had met at Sinclair’s. She was always so kind and I ended up loving her. Fast forward a few years and who would have thought that I would be shooting her wedding! Life is so crazy like that and I am so glad we crossed each other’s paths 🙂

Now, on to Carly & Preston’s wedding day. Preston and is groomsmen started the day on the rooftop of the Del’avant. The weather was perfect and I mean absolutely perfect! Preston gifted his groomsmen each gifts and wrote all of them a hadn’t-written letter, how sweet?! All of his groomsmen were so sweet to him and each thanked him for the sweetest letters. Downstairs, in the bridal room, Carly and her bridesmaids sang music, drank some mimosas and got prepped for the first look. When Carly’s bridesmaids saw her dressed for the first time, there were tears, smiles and lots of OOH’S and AHH’S. She was breathtaking and everyone was swooning! As Carly headed to her first look with Preston, her sweet Maid of Honor carried her dress and all the feelings started to build up. Carly began to cry as she walked up to see Preston for the first time in her white, wedding dress. Carly tapped Preston on the shoulder, and he gasped as he saw her! Preston was finally getting to see his future right in front of him and their first look was just precious! The day was so wonderful and after the sweetest church ceremony, everyone joined back up at the Del’avant where they partied all night. Let me just tell y’all, this was one of the most energetic and fun bridal parties! They sang and danced all night long as the band played on. It was so perfect and we were so thrilled to be there. Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Williams! 🙂
