Sweet little Benjamin’s baby shower has come and gone and I have decided that if I don’t blog it, then I may forget about it & I certainly don’t want that to happen! This shower was a labor of love and something that I had been planning since my sister told me she was pregnant. My sister, Kylie, is one to care less about a baby shower and cares even less how it would look and that is one of the things that makes is polar opposites. If I asked her opinion on anything, she would just say “You plan it and I’ll just show up”. So that is exactly what we did. My sweet Gran Gran who is a retired florist took all of my ideas and annoyances and made them come to life. She went with me to pick out flowers, made arrangements and helped me keep my sanity when a few things didn’t go as planned. I love her. When picking out the venue, I just knew we had to use Cornerstone Coffee. Not only did they give us a perfect room for the event, they served custom coffee to all of the guests as they came in, and they made it THAT much more special. Sugar B’s came in and blew our minds with the catering and I still can’t get over how great everything was. From mini cheesecakes and lemon tarts, to those precious sugar cookies that literally made me cry, it was perfection. I would HIGHLY recommend them for any and all catering needs. Now, let’s talk about all of the amazing family and friends that came far and wide to celebrate Kylie & Benjamin. I will forever be thankful for these sweet women for showing up and showering them! It is a lot to take time out of a Saturday to come to Eclectic, AL and we are so thankful for y’all! Benjamin has everything he needs and then some so, thank you!! Benjamin, you are now full term and we are patiently waiting on you to get here so any day now, buddy! 🙂
