What to Wear for your Engagement Session

WHAT TO WEAR FOR YOUR ENGAGEMENT SESSION

This is one of the most asked questions that we get, and we are SO glad to shed some light on this subject! We have three simple tips to help you make outfit choices that are timeless and beautiful. tip 1: Wear something that is flattering to your body type. This is going to make sure you feel comfortable throughout the session and will make the overall experience more enjoyable! That being said, this doesn’t mean you shouldn’t get fancy (because we LOVE fancy). Just try to stay away from things that make you feel self conscious, because we want you to be as in love with your photos, as you are with your fiancé 😉

PRO TIP 1: flow-y dresses have never let us down at a photo shoot (*heart eyes*)

tip 2:  A common misconception is that you should wear the exact same colors to “match” and for the picture to look cohesive. That’s false y’all! If Dylan and I are taking pictures together and I am wearing a light pink dress, I’d put him in something navy or grey so there’s some contrast.

PRO TIP 2: pastels and floral patterns are our best friends!

tip 3: Don’t be afraid to dress it up! This is the perfect excuse to slip on some high heels you bought that you never thought you would wear. In our opinion, the dressier – the better! So go shopping for that ahhhh-dorable cocktail dress and put a tie on that cute guy!

PRO TIP 3: pets are always invited. Our furry friends make pictures so special and we love dogs! At the end of the day, we want these pictures to be a fun memory for you to look back on! Being engaged is something special, that should be celebrated! This is such sweet time that you want to remember and we feel absolutely honored to be capturing these moments for you!
